| I feel like I have a really solid outlook on the world. I can control my reaction to any given situation because I tend not to pass judgement on myself and my own thoughts and feelings. I typically look at my current situation and my current feelings and view them as the reaction to the chain of events wich have spanned my life thus far. I entertain the possibility that everyone is who they are due to decisions they were forced to make by being put into certain situations. The first event in a series of chain reactions in someones life could very well be their first breath. I try not to judge other people's actions because I know that I have my own choices to make, anytime someone makes what seems to me as a "bad" choice it only gives me the power to make "good" choices. Destruction brings rise to creation and vice versa, opposites throughout the universe seem to define eachother. Selfish decisions can bring on a lot of pleasure, but usually it is short lived. Acting within the realm of what I feel is right has brought me a lot of long term consistant happiness. I've found the balance between analization and spirituality. All art is an evolution. What you do within your own art medium is only possible because the human race has been slowly gaining more and more knowledge and skill in all art forms. As artists these days with access to limitless amounts of information via the internet, we need to step the bar up. I would never have heeard 3/4 of the music that I have today had it not been for the internet. Imagine what it was like to be the first artists, with nothing but nature to inspire them. It is our responsibility as the artists of today to master the techniques used by the artists who inspired us and make our own mark on them so that art can continue to evolve. I'm making music evolve, and I'm trying to make people evolve through my music. I spent years trying to learn to meditate never realizing I had been successfully doing it all of my life. | ||||||||
